It’s your time to rest. It’s our time to provide.

We’re changing the state of postpartum care, because every birth parent should be nurtured as they nurture.  Find restoration in sanhujori, the time-honored South Korean tradition of postpartum care that centers rest as recovery.

Reap the benefits of rest.

We ease the transition into parenthood with focused, attentive care for birth parent and baby.

A new way, from the old.

Tapping into lessons handed down over centuries, we apply traditional South Korean postpartum practices to the modern family.

More love, less labor.

Working within the comfort of your home, your emonim ensures that you and your baby are nourished, attended to and content.

What is sanhujori?

Sanhujori is the traditional form of postpartum care in South Korea. It focuses on helping birth parents recover their strength after delivery by eating nutritious meals, staying warm, being tended to and having plenty of time to rest.

In Korea, sanhujori is most often provided in special centers that moms and babies travel to. Kae brings care to your home. An emonim (loosely translated as "auntie" in Korean) is the extra pair of hands you need, preparing and serving full meals, caring for baby and helping your body heal.

We’re different than a postpartum doula.

The services that a postpartum doula vary widely from provider to provider. Kae goes above and beyond to provide a level of postpartum care that is rarely found in the West. We take care of you and your baby so your body can heal and your mind can rest.
